I am Hanshi, 10th Dan, founder of Hebi-Ryu Budo — the School of the Snake — and acknowledged as a Founding Father of American martial arts. My career spans sixty years of teaching, writing, and lecturing on the disciplines of body, mind, and strategy.

My version of Musashi's Book of Five Rings — The Definitive Interpretation — has been translated into numerous languages.

I have also written Sun Tzu's Art of War, The Shogun's Scroll, The Living Tao, The Sword in the Boardroom, and many other titles.

I founded Self-Revealization Acceptance®, the reality facilitation system.

I lecture and present my teachings to audiences in many venues — martial arts academies, business communities, and most recently, music excellence and ascension of performance. The work is timely, relevant, unique, and cutting edge.
